Life Without Barriers
Our Mental Health program aims to provide community-based and flexible support for children and young people with (or at risk of) severe mental illness, mental health issues, or functional support needs, alongside their families or caregivers.
Synergy means when people work together, they can do more than anyone can achieve alone. This is what #synergy youth mental health at Life Without Barriers is all about. Our multi-disciplinary clinical team works across all of Southern Tasmania. We aim to support young people aged 12-25 to take steps to improve their mental, physical and social wellbeing and improve functioning. We do this through one-on-one therapeutic work, as well as case management support in an outreach capacity. We also work very closely with then young person’s family and any other support networks.
