Step Up is pilot program to address recurring violent behaviour by young people (aged 12-18) toward a family member or intimate partner.
A groupwork component is encouraged for young people who are violent toward the parent/carer, and the parent/carer who is experiencing violence.
Young people and parents will receive one on one outreach support throughout their engagement with Step Up.
- Support young people to learn about and understand violence, power, abuse and respect within the family or an intimate relationship.
