Small Steps (Live-in parenting program)
Small Steps provides a live-in parenting and life skills program for 12 young mums (under 25 years old) and their babies, who lack secure accommodation and/or appropriate support systems. 24/7 onsite care is provided. Each mum can stay for up to two years.
Small Steps is located in New Town in a secure location. The program provides access to onsite education including child development, parenting, and nutrition. The program is connected to a group of community services and organisations to help provide a range of tailored and holistic support.
Entry to the program includes an application process, and available positions in the program may be limited.
Please note that paticipants are required to pay rent for this accommodation with the exact amount determined by their income.
