HIPPY

HIPPY is an early learning program based on positive interaction between parents and children, providing free activity books and preparing youngsters for starting school.
Tutors visit parents/caregivers at their home every second week to demonstrate the HIPPY activities in the packs. The parent and child then spend 10 to 15 minutes each day, five days a week, doing the activities together.
Parents also meet in a group together and practice new activities, listen to guest speakers and participate in fun games that they can then try at home with their children.
