Family Violence Counselling and Support Service: Adult Program (FVCSS: AP)
- FVCSS Adult Program provides information, counselling and support to victims of family violence. It is part of the Tasmanian Government Safe at Home initiative.
- FVCSS is a state-wide service.
- FVCSS works with Tasmania Police and other key agencies, to undertake assessment of risk and safety for adult victims and the children in their care.
- FVCSS support is free.
- Assistance is available to anyone who needs support or information because their partner or ex-partner has been violent or abusive to them.
FVCSS AP operates from 8.30 am until 5pm 5 days per week, and an extended hours’ service operates from 4 pm until midnight 7 weeknights, weekends and public holidays.
