Family Based Foster Care Program

Kennerley provides a Family Based Foster Carer Program for Children aged between birth and 18 years whom have entered the statutory system in Southern Tasmania.  Trained and approved carers provide a loving home for children and young people who are unable to remain safely within their family of origin. The program is operated by a team of therapeutic coordinators and psychologists who provide case management, therapeutic interventions, carer supervision and support. Children can remain within the program for various lengths of time depending on their family circumstances.

Service is available between 8.30am to 4.30pm weekdays, with an after-hours contact number for emergencies and urgent placements.

Kennerley is located at 9 Timsbury Road Glenorchy TAS.
