Emergency Assistance Moonah
Emergency Assistance provides financial assistance and advice for those experiencing hardship. The service operates on an appointment system, with qualified, paid staff undertaking individual assessments. Staff will assist with the immediate crisis and also refer clients to other relevant services to address underlying issues as required.
Emergency Assistance appointments are provided in the Hobart and Moonah offices with bookings available from 8.30am the business day beforehand. Call 6215 4200 at 8.30am to secure an appointment.
Immediate assistance can be obtained through food packs at Hobart (Monday-Friday 8.30-5pm) and Moonah (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.00pm) without an appointment.
