Community Respite Program
Kennerley Children’s Homes provide respite care for parents and primary care givers in times of difficulty. Parents can access up to 28 nights of care per year.
The service also provides emergency care for children during a family crisis. The program matches children with Kennerley foster carers.
Emergency care is available 24/7 depending on availability and can be accessed by calling the office during working hours or the on-call duty number for emergencies.

Out of Home Care, Strong Families, Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line, doctors, district social workers.
How do clients access the service?
Client responsible for transportation to service
