Youth Family and Community Connections (YFCC)
Community Alcohol and Drug Support Service (CADSS) - Devonport
This Service is delivered in partnership with the Circular Head Aboriginal Corporation and is based in in the Circular Head, Waratah Wynyard and King Island municipalities.
The Service aims to improve the health, social and family functioning of individuals who may be experiencing problems associated with substance misuse, enabling them to reach their full capacity and participate positively in their community by providing specialist ATOD services including:
- alcohol and other drug screening and brief intervention
- alcohol and other drug counselling
- case management and aftercare through a ‘HUB’ model which provides a framework for collaborative practice between services to successfully deliver multi service, shared care arrangements.
- outreach services - provided at either a neutral site or at the client’s home or via digital technology to clients who cannot access on-site services.
